Created for MILP’s Transversal exhibition of projection beyond the standard screen format. Taken from historical photographs from the Dwyer and Mackay Collections of the Museum of the Goldfields, the ghosts of white children float in space suspended between eternity and consequence. A short Pepper’s Ghost microprojection only 6 cm high was installed inside an antique hat box. This work was developed as part of the Terrane Project residency with the Museum of the Goldfields (funded by Art on the Move).
