Whether walking the streets of London or following the drains of Albany, Phillips has been integrating walking into her practice since 1997.

If there is a time that is truly one’s own it is while walking. Going from here to there relieves us of having to be anywhere in particular, allows us to meander with the thoughts that follow. It is into such wanderings that Strange Strolls intervenes.
