Created for Labocine Museum Portraits and composed entirely from digital film stills in the 20 second PechaKucha format, with diegetic sound from the gallery and from geophone recordings underground and open pit mine blasts nearby.

The Western Australian School of Mines was established on the Goldfields in 1902. Initially based in Coolgardie, it moved to new premises at Kalgoorlie in 1903. The museum building dates from 1907 and is known today as the Western Australian School of Mines Minerals Museum. It houses around 3000 specimens of minerals and ores as well as a replica of “The Golden Eagle”, a 35 kg (78 pound) gold nugget discovered at Widgiemooltha in 1931. The building is “a fine example of the Federation Academic Classical style”, with current underground mining continuing half a kilometre below.
