Caution Workers Below

Termitaria I Caution Workers Below was one of a pair of exhibitions at the Ballidu Art Lodge, Ballidu as part of a residency in this wheatbelt town. Caution: Workers Below was an installation of the 4269 termite-stamped baggage tags attached to blankets. These blankets were hung in this installation as a large reverse barrelled ceiling. The queen and king were hidden amongst the thousands of workers and soldiers.  At the far end a found yellow warning sign ‘Caution: workers below’ could be seen in the gloom.
