A double-take, with final casting in Jesmonite by VIPDesigns. A 1:1 copy of Rock I, situated on the Cottesloe Groyne for Sculpture by the Sea Cottesloe 2016.
A subtle relief on the groin [sic] is a modest piece by Perdita Phillips, Rock 11 [sic]. A rock is made of polychrome cement [sic] and placed among the other rocks, as an interloper of sorts. This is one of the few works that is sensitive to its environment and so more relevant than most.
