Lenticular 3d printing technology allows four different states of the boots of naturalists to be captured on the right hand side of this artwork. The digital print on the left is a birdwatcher’s notebook. This work was part of the fieldwork/fieldwalking PhD project that investigated the overlapping space of art and scientific practices in the field.
