Termitaria was a large series of work, all to do with termites. The various works explore how science and culture have looked at termites and what concepts they have represented. One theme, for example, is the idea of infestation as a metaphor for processes of change in society. Between 1997 and 1999 the art studio building in London were infested with termite tracks and trails.
In this work 4269 luggage tags stamped with termites were used to create a reverse-vaulted blanket roof to the gallery
