Bunbury Biennale (2015)
The work Night for Day (The Owl of Bunbury spreads its wings only with the falling of the dusk) was a site-responsive installation in the choir loft of the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery.
Initiated by the City of Bunbury Art Collection Committee in 1993, the Bunbury Biennale is the second oldest biennale in Australia. The 2015 biennale will exhibit the work of 29 artists, who have been selected from over 100 entries. These artists have been chosen as practitioners at the forefront of Western Australian contemporary art, whose works reflect the quality, diversity and innovation of current visual arts trends.
Exhibition dates: 14 June – 2 August 2015
