This afternoon I have got a booking for the narration booth. Leslie Thomas will read from green mountains walking. Ernie Kroeger will read some narrations of the Frank mining disaster. Renato Vitic has offered to do a list of placenames associated with the structural cross sections as well as some extracts from the history of the Cascade Gardens. Shirley Serviss will read a long list of geological rock types. Given the patchy progress with the geophone data not only will the narrations be used but I will see if we can transform these files too back into rock sound. In other words they may form the instrument loops in the structural cross section.
A meeting is scheduled at 11 am to see whether it is possible to transform the structural cross section diagram into sound. I’d like to think that something beneficial will come out of the residency even if I have not done the sound walk.
