Columbia Icefield with Elinor and crew

big cliff

They say it is one of the most spectacular drives on the planet. Started out with perfect weather. One stunning cliff after another. That whole feeling of rocks on their sides and everything tilted over. By the time we get to the Athabasca glacier the wind is extremely strong. I’m holding up the group because I am taking too many photos. The others leave to climb Parker Ridge. I take 200 photographs of stones.

Many thanks for Elinor inviting us along.
