Discover Cascade Gardens on the other side of Bow River. A garden designed by Harold C Beckett during The Depression. In the summer it is a riot of annual blooms. By autumn the soil has been turned over. The squirrels are fighting over pine cones. The gazebos are freshly painted and the ponds are emptied. Thrilled to discover that it was originally a Cascades of Time with different ponds representing different geological eras and then something went wrong and the rocks were dumped in the wrong place. A wonderful spot for a sound walk. It has a compact identity just like the cemetery.
Also thanksgiving dinner. A great meet with friends. The kitchen runs out of turkey??
