Introduced starlings are found in all states of Australia apart from WA (when found here, they are subject to border control). These ones are at Otmoor, near Oxford. I can’t think of any other birds that flock like this in Australia except budgies when they have had a good season. There was another video about complexity and starling flocks but it annoyed me because the economist narrating it insisted that “individual birds are not intelligent or conscious”. Is that unconscious??? Or instinct driven robots??? Puhleease!
